Spinergy Expands to New Facility - Mayor to Attend Ribbon Cutting

Rochester, NY - September 11, 2009 - Spinergy, a local CD/DVD manufacturer, printer and fulfillment company, is expanding into a larger, new facility on Lyell Avenue in the City of Rochester. A formal ribbon cutting ceremony scheduled for Monday, September 14, will be attended by Rochester Mayor Robert J. Duffy and representatives from City Hall.

Previously located in a 47,000 square foot facility in East Rochester, the new facility provides over 79,000 square feet of manufacturing, warehousing and office space. "It was important for Spinergy to find a location that would meet our growing business needs and those of our customer base," said Spinergy President Mary Reeves. "The new facility presented a great opportunity to expand our production capabilities and services while keeping our business based in Rochester."

Located in the former Valeo complex on Lyell Avenue, Spinergy's relocation brings 47 jobs into the city. The move will be celebrated with a formal ribbon cutting ceremony followed by and open house.

Established in 1983, Spinergy has continued to increase its service offerings while at the same time expanding their manufacturing capabilities. Spinergy now offers a wide range of services, including CD/DVD/USB duplication, CD/DVD manufacturing, content development, custom printing, packaging, warehousing, distribution and fulfillment services. July 2, 2009 - In 2007, Spinergy began a process of standardizing its internal processes and quality control measures in an effort to become ISO 9001:2000 certified. Since completing the initial audit process and achieving ISO 9001:2000 certification, Spinergy has implemented many efficiencies as part of our continual improvement initiative. The company was re-certified via an in-depth surveillance audit to the ISO 9001:2000 standard in 2008.

With recent changes to the ISO standard, Spinergy underwent a new certification review and is proud to announce that we have successfully completed the 2009 re-certification audit process. Spinergy is now ISO 9001:2008 certified.

Spinergy Launches New On-Demand Photo Disc Service

East Rochester, NY - March 2, 2009 - Spinergy announces the launch of a new product offering at the Photo Marketing Association's 2009 trade show in Las Vegas (Booth # V232, March 3-6, 2009). Photo Disc Direct offers professionally-printed optical media-with or without viewer software-to professional photographers, small labs and service bureaus at factory direct pricing.

Spinergy is one of the largest suppliers of CD and DVD products to the photo industry. Through targeted market research, Spinergy identified a need to provide professional photographers, specialty labs and service bureaus with professionally-printed optical media. Long constrained by the expense of inkjet or thermal printable media and consumables, smaller volume labs have yearned for a cost-efficient alternative for digital distribution and file sharing.

Up until now, minimum quantities for professionally-printed media have been too large to be considered as a reasonable operating expense for small and mid-size businesses. Maintaining equipment and printing media in-house has also proved to be inefficient and cost-prohibitive to many in the industry. With minimum quantities as low as 50 pieces, Photo Disc Direct is a cost-efficient, value-added product for professional photographers and specialty shops.

Photo Disc Direct extends the benefits of large volume production to smaller volume clients by leveraging Spinergy's unique production capabilities and distribution model.

Spinergy To Relocate to New Facility

February 26, 2009 - Within the next 2-3 months, Spinergy will be relocating to a new, larger facility in Rochester, NY. Now in its 26th year of business, Spinergy has been located in its current building for 10 years. The new facility will include nearly 40% additional space and allow for additional production capacity and service expansion.

Spinergy Acquires Tuxford Screen Printing

January 1, 2009 - Spinergy is excited to announce that Tuxford Inc. has merged with our business, effective January 1, 2009. Tuxford's screen print production had been located within the Spinergy facility since its inception in 1998. With the merger, these services are now folded into the ROM manufacturing, duplication and other ancillary services offered by Spinergy.

With the merge, Tuxford customers can expect that the same sales and customer service individuals will continue to service their needs after the merger. They can also expect the same great product quality and service they have received for the past ten years.
