East Rochester, NY -- July 24, 2003 -- The East Rochester company, Spinergy is going platinum! This August the CD/DVD manufacturing and duplicating company will be celebrating its platinum 20th anniversary. During times of an up and down economy, Spinergy is a Rochester company that has continually grown and added additional services throughout the years.
Pittsford residents, Mary and Gary Reeves founded Spinergy as GRA, INC. back in 1983. Spinergy is a full service supplier of e-media manufacturing, screen-printing, and related services. CD manufacturing, screen-printing and an extensive state-of-the-art CD-R/DVD-R duplicating and publishing lab are housed in a 47,000 square foot facility. Located in East Rochester, New York, Spinergy has a customer base that spans across North America.
Spinergy first started as a company involved in providing packing products to software publishers and was located in East Rochester at the Piano Works Mall. From there, the company expanded to include services such as assembly, warehousing and distribution. The continued growth led to a move into a 14,000 square foot facility on Monroe Avenue in Pittsford, New York. Then, during the mid-90’s, the company added diskette duplication and CD-R duplication equipment to further increase their line of services. The repeated development of the company led to another move in 1999 into its current location in East Rochester. During the last couple years, Spinergy added even more services as they purchased two CD screen printing presses and a CD-ROM injection-molding machine.
To celebrate this milestone of twenty years, Spinergy will be holding a party at its East Rochester location on Wednesday, August 6th from 1pm – 5pm. The party will offer food, live music, tours of the facility, and will be appropriately named, “We’re Going Platinum.” Due to the upcoming PGA event here in Rochester, the party will have a golf theme. As people tour the facility they will be able to take part in the Spinergy Golf Tour. This will involve putt-putt golf holes in each of the departments, and participants on the tour will be able to play the holes to win prizes.
