What is the difference between replication and duplication?
CD, DVD and Blu-ray Replication is a manufacturing process where your music, video, files or other data is injection molded or "pressed" into optical-grade plastic and then metallized. Replication is typically utilized on projects that involve 500 or more discs containing the same content.
CD, DVD and Blu-ray Duplication on the other hand, is often referred to as "burning", where data is encoded in the dye layer of a recordable CD, DVD or Blu-ray disc (CD-R/DVD-R/BD-R). Duplication is ideal for quick, short run projects.
